Steppy Visits the Second INNERSECT Streetwear and Art Culture Convention
Our favourite booths

GUESS

Probably because of Edison Chen’s personal preference, several booths on INNERSECT this year have set up basketball courts. In addition to these spacious basketball courts that occupied more than half of the luxurious room of the booth, of course the highlights will go to the apparels shown in the booth. This time, the latest collaboration of GUESS and Place + Faces is on display. The simple styles and patterns have become more vivid with the matching with bright colors.

Reebok

After the basketball court, we come to the “Streetwear Grocery Shop” presented by Reebok, and the famous Boston street style brand, Bodega.

The entire site was masterfully recreated the Bodega LA store. Other than street wear groceries, the store exclusively showcases the Reebok x Bodega “Shanghai Pack” limited edition sneakers.

ASICSTIGER

ASICSTIGER established an eye-catching “Fish Market” booth at INNERSECT. The site was furnished with a typical Japanese-style fish market scene. The realistic fish pond and the vivid large fish tank are all up there for hype beasts’ photo opportunities.

STARTER

STARTER, the streetwear brand, made its come back this year, and is undoubtedly a huge hit for INNERSECT. The souvenir shopping bag that all the people carry is made by STARTER. Hip-hop music is played in the booth nonstop. Photographer Yasumasa Yonehara shows up in the booth, and announces his cooperation plan with STARTER in the following year.

Performance

Unlike the previous time, INNERSECT this year, arranged two performance show separately on the 8th and 9th. The world’s well known rapper Cam’Ron being the first artist to unveil the performance section, lit the whole crowd with cheers and applauses.

Afterwards, the Taiwan Hip-hop band MJ116, and the American singer/songwriter James Fauntleroy heated up the atmosphere even more. Now until Edison Chen’s appearance has the event been pushed to its peak.
