Steppy x CHUMS Offline Event Review


It’s boring to focus only on the clothes but not the culture behind them.



If you follow Steppy’s stories, you would know that we don’t like to purely discuss how the hype sneakers are traded in business, nor do we want to simply explain the matching techniques of those. Instead, we focus more on content: the stories behind a pair of sneakers, an event happened to push a trend, and the philosophy of a brand.



We want to be a story-teller, not a notice-board provider. 



And, if you are really familiar with us, you would know that we launched a collaboration with CHUMUS, an outdoor brand from the U.S., and held an offline event called “UNZIP SUNSET” in Shenzhen at COSTS, a selection shop, from May 11th to May 12th.



During the warm-up period, we’ve collected pictures of sunsets from our readers. Yes, the photo is an entering ticket to the event, but moreover, we want people to take this chance to leave their cubicles, and to enjoy sunset.



Based on the premise of “outdoor”, we have arranged a variety of outdoor-related scenes and accessories in the COSTS store, as well as these collected sunset photos.



We don’t have a packed “event timeline” here. That’s not what’s going to happen in our outdoor appreciation.


Cheche, our outdoor expert, Lakita, fashion photographer, and Tara, light-weight hiking enthusiast, shared their outdoor stores as well as their outdoor-going knowledge points.
